Alzheimer's Test

Alzheimer's is a disease caused due to disorder of brain progressively. There is no cure for this disease. There are many symptoms for this Alzheimer's disease. They are forgetting names of friends and relatives, forgetting things, which happened just now, wandering in nights, loss of initiative, poor in making judgments, not willing to go out, problem in language, problem in sleeping, etc. This Alzheimer's disease generally occurs at the age of 60 years or more than 60 years. Tests are conducted to know whether the memory loss is due to normal aging or due to Alzheimer's disease. Many tests are there to know about this Alzheimer's disease. Some tests are laboratory tests, brain scan, etc.

There are many methods to take scan of brain. They are CT scan, MRI, PET, SPECT, and etc. brain scan is taken to see whether there are any tangles and plaques formed in brain or not. Blood tests are also taken. Both white blood cells and red blood cells count is checked. White blood cells count should not be more than the range. If white blood cells are more than they will destroy the red blood cells, which is not good for health. Genetic tests are also conducted, as genetics is one of the risk factor for this Alzheimer's disease. There is a chance that if one person in a family gets this Alzheimer's disease then the other person may also get because of genes. This Alzheimer's disease is not contagious disease. Some other tests like heartbeat, blood pressure, sugar, urine, etc are taken.

An Alzheimer test is important to ensure that the person is not just going through the usual memory loss associated with age however sometimes Alzheimer test is not necessary it does not effect a person memory but it can make people see things that are not there.

An Alzheimer test determines how the brain processes information will proceed and it involves a series of psychological tests as well as other tests that include menial everyday activities that should be easy for people who does not suffer from this disease. An Alzheimer test should be performed by a doctor or at least a well trained professional who specializes in working with people who have this Alzheimer disease. Furthermore the tests may also prove useful in the diagnosis of Alzheimer prior to the onset of clinical symptoms. The body uses acids to forms proteins so that the researches were able to measure how the carbon isotope was taken up in the production of amyloidal beta protein and then how long it took to break the labeled proteins down. Unfortunately this disease currently does not cure soon, however if the person uses the drugs correctly then there is a chance of their lives to live for a long time.
