Early Onset of Alzheimer's

Early onset of Alzheimer's is defined as development of disease before the age of 65 years of age. Early onset of Alzheimer's varies from 6 % to 10 % of all cases of Alzheimer's disease. Genetic is the risk factor for early onset of Alzheimer's. Genetic testing for early onset Alzheimer's or for disease that do not have cure is very difficult. Scientists may not say at what age you will get early onset Alzheimer's. The age range for early onset of Alzheimer's can vary as much as from 2 decades. Early onset of Alzheimer's is a rare form of dementia. It runs in families. The loss of intimacy is something that comes up a lot with early onset of Alzheimer's. People with early onset of Alzheimer's have to quit from their work, which leads to financial crisis sometimes.

There are two types of Alzheimer's disease. They are early onset of Alzheimer's and late onset of Alzheimer's. Symptoms of early onset of Alzheimer's are same as symptoms of Alzheimer's disease. Problem in thinking, problem in language, problem in walking, wandering in night times, memory loss, less in communicating, poor judgment, forgetting the things just happened now, forgetting names of persons, friends and relatives, etc. Alzheimer's is progressive disorder of brain. Alzheimer's is a form of dementia. There are three types of dementia. They are Alzheimer's dementia, vascular dementia, and lewy body. Alzheimer's dementia causes to fail of nerve cells in areas of brain and other mental functions. Vascular Alzheimer's is formed when arteries feeding the brain are blocked. Lewy bodies develop with in cells of mid brain and beneath the cerebral hemisphere.

There are many reasons for the cause of Alzheimer's disease. They are family factors, hereditary, genetics, head injury and brain tumor. There is no cure to this disease but personal care and affection should be given to the Alzheimer's. There are 18 millions of people who are suffering from this disease nowadays. There are 4.5 million people in America who are suffering from this Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer's will be in three stages namely mild, moderate and severe. Mild stage is also called as forgetful stage. Medium or moderate stage is also called as confusion stage. Severe stage will be there till death. Mild stage will be there for 2 to 5 years and medium or moderate stage will be there for 2 to 10 years. At last stage that at severe stage more care should be taken.
