There is no cure for this Alzheimer’s disease. First step of this Alzheimer’s treatment is diagnosis. There are many treatments for this Alzheimer’s disease. They are antioxidants, medication, genetic testing, physical activity, drug treatment, etc.

Antioxidants: It is found that antioxidants present in some fruits and vegetables will help in the treatment of this Alzheimer’s disease. Use of vitamin E is controversial. Vitamin E and other oxidants have been seen in patients who have Alzheimer’s disease.

Genetic testing: It may be useful of genetic testing to make an accurate diagnosis. Genetic testing should be discussed by the physician. Genetic counseling will determine whether the test will be useful to the patient or not.

Medications: There are various types of medications, which help in reducing symptoms of the Alzheimer’s disease such as having good sleep, to slow memory loss, etc. It is important to consult a physician who has good knowledge and experience in using these medications.

Drug treatment: Drug treatments are used to treat the cognitive areas of Alzheimer’s disease. These drug treatments will not help in prevention of this Alzheimer’s disease but they will give relief.

Non-drug treatment: Taking care and plans and strategy to help some of the problems in Alzheimer’s disease include the non-drug treatment.

Neuroleptics: These drugs help in controlling some symptoms of Alzheimer’s such as anger, depression, Anxiety, inability to sleep, etc. These drugs have side effects also.

The main reason for this treatment for the non-curable disease is to reduce the pain and make life somewhat easy and improve the quality of life. Symptoms of Alzheimer’s should be controlled and monitored so as to help with the process with in the patient. Support and care should be given to the family and also to the person affected by this Alzheimer’s disease. Ignorance will be more painful than the Alzheimer’s disease.

There is no permanent treatment for this Alzheimer’s disease. Researchers are doing research to know the exact treatment for this Alzheimer’s disease and also to know the reason for this disease to occur at the age of 60 years or more than 60 years age. This Alzheimer’s disease occurs due to progressive disorder of brain. There are many symptoms for this disease such as problem in thinking, problem in language, problem in speaking, poor in making judgments, loss of initiative, forgetting things happened just now, forgetting names of friends and family members, wandering in nights, unable to sleep as usual, etc.
