Prevent Alzheimer'sNowadays millions of people are suffering from this Alzheimer's disease. But there is no cure for this Alzheimer's disease. But there are some prevention methods for this disease. Proper diet and exercises will help in prevention of Alzheimer's disease. Healthy Diet: Taking healthy food in our regular diet will help in preventing Alzheimer's disease. Eat diet with low cholesterol and saturated acids and low calories and fats. Eat food, which is rich in fiber. Eat vegetables and fruits, which are rich in antioxidants. Decrease intake of alcohol. Decrease weight if you are overweight. Try to reduce anxiety and depression. Try to reduce stress and be relax. Blood pressure should be in control. Exercise: Regular walk and exercise is necessary to prevent Alzheimer's disease. Thirty minutes of brisk walk will keep our heart and brain healthy. There are various varieties of exercises especially for mind. Besides walking it is better to do jogging, swimming, going to sports etc. doing walking will improve flow of blood to the brain and helps in growth of new brain cells which will help in slowing the cognitive decline who are having Alzheimer's disease and also lowers the risk of getting Alzheimer's disease. All the above factors will help in preventing from Alzheimer's disease. This Alzheimer's disease will generally occurs at the age of 60 years or more than 60 years. It means that this disease occurs as we are aging. The main symptom of this Alzheimer's disease is memory loss. There are three main stages in this Alzheimer's disease. They are mild stage, medium stage and sever stage. There are many symptoms for this disease. They are loss of initiative, forgetfulness, confusion, depression, anxiety, etc. There is no permanent cure for this disease. Reason for this Alzheimer's disease is not known till now. There are many risk factors for this disease to occur. They are family factors, hereditary, head injury, genetics, brain tumor, etc. Alzheimer's is a form of dementia. There are three types of dementia. They are Alzheimer's dementia, vascular dementia, and lewy body. Alzheimer's dementia is formed because of fail of nerve cells in areas of brain and other mental functions. Vascular dementia when arteries feeding brain are blocked. Lewy body develops in the mid brain and beneath the cerebral hemisphere. Prevention is better than cure. So it is better to take preventions to avoid Alzheimer's disease when we age. We should take proper diet and do regular exercise to prevent Alzheimer's disease to some extent. |
